How much can anyone cook? It is nice to take a break by ordering curbside takeout or delivery from a local restaurant. You treat yourself and family, and help the restaurant owner and staff. Last night’s dinner special from Bistro V (Versailles) was a pan-seared salmon, with accompanying lemon caper sauce over tender asparagus, brussel sprouts and pickled cabbage. Party with Moms can affirm that it was really, really good.

Other options our family enjoyed were the Duck Confit in black garlic pomegranate sauce, served with fingerling potatoes, wild mushrooms, and asparagus and the always delicious short ribs bourguignon with mashed potatoes, pearl onions and carrots. It was a tasty and fun dinner experience, extremely relaxing and enjoyable.
Bistro V is available for breakfast food as well. Pick up some of their buttery croissants, or apple turnovers and indulge yourself. Or try a quiche Lorraine for lunch. And don’t forget about trying a delectable dessert, like their Chocolate Mousse!
