August 9, 2016 1:51 pm Marianne’s Lovely Evening at Terra
On a beautiful evening last week, we decided last minute to have dinner at Terra. Since it is August and half of Greenwich seems to be away, we were able to get a table outside. The breeze was delightful and terrace quiet compared to the restaurant itself.
After a round of great drinks we had a hard time choosing between Terra’s usual wonderful dinner entrees. Everything looks and sounds so good, but we can only eat so much. We eventually settled on the mustard crusted pork tenderloin and the Parmesan crusted sole in white wine sauce. Heirloom tomatoes that accompanied both dishes were delicious. So were the accompanying glasses of Sonoma Cutrer.
As is usually the case when we eat at Terra, we were delighted to unexpectedly meet some dear friends, making the experience even more special. Terra is definitely a favorite spot. Remember, on Tuesday nights, wine is half price!
