A Delicious Dinner with Something for Everyone
A family dinner for 3 adults and 3 children, with varying tastes and preferences and no time to cook…
Bella Cucina offered many options. For the adults, we chose chicken scarpariello – tender pieces of chicken, spicy sausage and peppers simmered in a delicious sauce. A bowl of ziti with butter and Parmesan complimented the “scarp,” but also provided delicious sustenance for the children who prefer white food and adore pasta.
A large garden salad, fresh lettuce, olives, red and green peppers, topped with balsamic dressing and gorgonzola, was popular with everyone. We couldn’t believe the children ate it. Two personal pizzas rounded out the “children’s fare” – a traditional tomato sauce and cheese, and for the non-tomato lover, a “white pizza,” with fresh ricotta and mozzarella. The adults liked the white pizza as well. In the delivery we found a complementary loaf of delicious, fresh Italian bread brought in from Arthur Avenue. The children loved slices of the bread with butter.
