The application to demolish and reconstruct the Sun Dial apartments on Steamboat Road has been withdrawn!! Thanks to everyone who sent a letter or expressed an opinion. Your words counted. A piece of colorful history has been preserved – at least for the moment. We love that we will be able to feast our eyes on the historic apartments as we take the ferry out of Greenwich Harbor on our way to Island Beach or Great Captain’s Island. Let’s keep history in Greenwich.
