Camilla and Flavia– Owners of Zaniac Greenwich.
What do you love to do with your children? How old are they? And what is your greatest wish for them?
Camilla: I love spending unstructured time with them. Sitting on the floor with them when they are playing and just watching them learn and grow right before my eyes. I have an 11-year old boy, a 9-year old girl and a 6-year old boy. My biggest wish for them is that they enjoy every minute of their childhood.
When and where are you the happiest?
Flavia: I have two boys, a 10-year old and a 6-year old. My favorite time of the day is in the evening right before bedtime and right after reading time when they are relaxed from a hot bath, sleepy-eyed and just want to be hugged and cuddled. That’s when I can get them to talk about their day and hear them say those wonderful things that only comes from kids.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Camilla: I would go anywhere in the world as long as I could take them!
What quality do you most admire in a mother? And what woman has had the biggest impression on you?
Flavia: The quality that I most admire in a mother is dedication to her family. But dedication does not mean forgetting oneself. I admire the mother that can give so much without losing herself. This is strength. This is what families thrive in. At the moment I am awed by Malala Yousafzai. She is a young woman, but has so much promise.
What is your favorite book? Movie?
Flavia: Book: The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery Movie: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
What personal achievement are you most proud of?
Camila: Finding a way to be professionally satisfied without having to sacrifice spending time with my family.
What do you feel is your strongest talent?
Flavia: The ability to multi-task!
What do you like to do for fun?
Camilla: Date night with my husband on Friday’s to the movies – no kids!
What is your favorite time of the day and why?
Flavia: I love the routine of night time when I spend quiet time with the kids before they go to bed, I take a very long hot shower and get to catch up with my favorite TV shows.
Where is your favorite place to Party with Moms and what’s your favorite drink?
Camilla: I love to entertain friends at home and my favorite drink is Coca-Cola!
