What do you love to do with your children? How old are they? And what is your greatest wish for them?
Jones is 15 months now and is walking and has a handful of words and gestures she uses to communicate. She is a water bug. She loves to go anywhere that has water: the pool, the beach, even the bath. My greatest wish for Jones is that she lives a happy and super long life.
When and where are you the happiest?
I love being with my family pretty much any place. I love going out to dinner, to parties at people’s home and to events around town.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Wow, toughy… hmm. I would love to stay in the lighthouses along Croatia. That looks like it would be pretty interesting, different and fun!
Who has had the biggest influence upon you? And what quality do you most admire in a mother?
My parents… my mom is always happy and smiling and can talk to anyone. My dad is a free spirit. He always has to be busy and loves to go out. Now that I am a Mom, I appreciate so much more than I did before, how much work it is to take care of another person, and how time consuming it is!
What do you like to do for fun?
I have parties! I love getting groups of people together at a fun location with good food, music and drinks.
What is one of your favorite books? Movies?
One of my favorite books is To Kill a Mockingbird. I loved Scout’s character. Movies… well if we are going based off of how many times I have viewed them it is probably A Christmas Story. I have seen that well over 100 times.
What do you feel is one of your strongest qualities?
I am easy going. I don’t tend to feel the stress that most people do in a day. I rarely get overwhelmed. Life is so great. Even when things take a turn, it’s part of life and you have to accept your fate or make a change. Becoming overwhelmed or stressed just makes everything harder, just face it and move onward and upward.
What is your favorite type of food and what do you love to cook?
Leftovers. Mostly because I have no clue how to cook. Luckily my husband loves to cook and Greenwich is filled with awesome restaurants.
What is your favorite time of the day and why?
I love sunset. I am a night owl so I know once the sun sets, the night is rolling in.
Where is your favorite place to Party with Moms and what’s your favorite drink?
The Party with Moms Golf Outing is a great place to party with other moms. Looking forward to another great time next month! As for my favorite drink… red wine is my go to.
