What do you love to do with your children? How old are they? What is your greatest wish for them?

My kids are 10, 8, and 4. I love playing with them – we have family dance parties every single night, but my greatest joy comes from reading to them every night before bed. My wish for them is that they find happiness.

Who has had the biggest influence upon you?

My mom and my grandmothers have had the biggest influence on me because they’ve all taught me in their own way how to use my voice.

What quality do you most admire in a mother?

I most admire in my mother her ability to stay pre-naturally calm no matter the circumstance.

Besides motherhood, what other careers/opportunities have you enjoyed? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I find the most fulfillment when I’m telling other people’s stories – it’s a privilege. I love working on the TODAY Show, and I’ve also loved starting my book club, “Read With Jenna,” where I get to share my favorite reads each month.

What are your strongest qualities?

I’m a good listener, and I practice choosing joy.

What is your idea of a perfect day?

A perfect day is one spent in nature with my kids.

Favorite books? Movies or TV Shows?

In my book club through the TODAY Show, I’ve highlighted new and diverse authors. Some of my favorite books from the club are, “Nothing to See Here,” “The Girl with the Louding Voice,” “The Cloisters,” and “Maame.” My all-time favorite authors are Ann Patchett, Donna Tartt, and Toni Morrison.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Australia and New Zealand.

Where is your go-to restaurant to Party with Moms and what is your drink of choice?

The Cottage, and a margarita!
