Fairfield County’s Giving Day is Today! Thursday, March 1st

You can help local kids by making a donation to CTKF. 


  • Help low-income parents use finances toward groceries or rent instead of clothing
  • Improve self-esteem and confidence in school-age children
  • Provide clean, well-fitting clothing to children in need
  • Enable children to focus on academics

Organizations receiving the most unique donations will win cash prizes to help carry out their missions.

PRIZES – Most Unique Donors

1st place         =          $20,000
2nd place       =          $10,000
3rd place        =          $5,000

“Get Up and Give Fairfield County” Launch Prizes

Beginning at 12:00 AM on March 1st, $1,000 prizes will be awarded to the ten nonprofits who are the first to receive 25 unique donations of $25 or more.

Top of the Morning Prizes

The nonprofit that raises the most dollars by 9:00 AM will each receive a $5,000 “Top of the Morning” prize.

Power Hours – $1,000 award goes to the non-profit that has the highest number of individual donors during each hour listed 

“The Impact Vine” Power Hour – 10 – 11 AM

“Whole Foods” Power Hour – 12 – 1 PM (top five receive $1,000 each)

Sacred Heart University Master of Public Administration” Power Hour 3 – 4 PM ($2,500 awarded to the non-profit with the highest number of individual donors)
