Cycle for SUPERWOMAN
September 17th at Soul Cycle Studio, Greenwich @ 7:15 PM
Kaile Zagger and Diane Powis, in partnership with Discovery to Cure and Greenwich Hospital, launched a new program in May 2019, designed to educate the medical provider community on how to identify, risk stratify and manage women who present with the puzzling and disparate symptoms of Ovarian Cancer –and train the doctors to act immediately. The program, called MAT Designation, aims to eliminate the long period between the onset of vague symptoms and the final diagnosis, thus giving women a better chance of surviving the disease.
The curriculum and exam are established. 23 Greenwich-based physicians have been MAT designated to date, with a goal of 1000 by December. A large course is planned for September, and the program is preparing to launch in Stamford and at New York Presbyterian. In order to fund the MAT initiative and continue to expand it, Kaile and Diane are holding their first fundraiser. Details below!
